Belgian queer dark pop artist ALESSIO returns with 'FOR THE NIGHT', a seductive and emotionally charged new single out on 26 June, exploring the tension between anxiety, lust, and escapism. Following the release of his debut album 'INSOMNIAC' last year, ALESSIO continues building a sonic world where vulnerability meets dark pop aesthetics. 'FOR THE NIGHT' captures the feeling of chasing temporary escape when anxiety becomes too loud. Pulled by lust and late-night obsession, the song follows the hunt for someone who can make everything disappear - even if it only lasts until morning.

Known for blending melancholic storytelling with catchy, synth-driven production, ALESSIO transforms personal experiences into immersive pop songs filled with emotion, poetry, and tension. Drawing inspiration from themes such as identity, mental health, sleeplessness, and queer experiences, his music invites listeners into a world where the darker corners of the mind are not hidden, but embraced.

After years of songwriting, smaller musical ventures, and performing across Belgium and The Netherlands, ALESSIO has steadily built his own artistic universe. With performances at venues  including OLT Rivierenhof and Het Depot in Belgium, he has already proven himself as a compelling live performer, balancing vulnerability with theatrical dark pop energy. 2026 marks another important chapter, as ALESSIO joins the lineup of Antwerp Pride Belgium, continuing to expand his presence within the queer music landscape. With 'FOR THE NIGHT', ALESSIO offers a glimpse into the next phase of his artistry: darker, bolder, and more immersive than ever - inviting listeners to surrender to temptation, if only for one night.
