Brussels Pride 2026: All you need to know

7-20 May

Brussels Pride, one of the earliest celebrations in Europe, will be held on 16 May, one day before IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia). By coincidence, it also aligns with the grand finale of Eurovision 2026, ensuring that the capital will be filled with a vibrant and festive LGBTIQ atmosphere!
This year's Brussels Pride celebrates 30 years so it is a special one. Hate speech and violence are on the rise — in public spaces, on social media and in political debates, including here in Belgium. Too many LGBTQIA+ people still feel unsafe, particularly on the streets, at school and in sports clubs. Transgender and intersex people and LGBTQIA+ refugees are attacked and dehumanised in Belgium as elsewhere in the world.
