After their last performance at the ING Arena in Brussels in 2022, GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band Evanescence will be stopping in Belgium on his 2026 World Tour to deliver an electric new set, alongside special guest Poppy and female rock group Nova Twins.
Evanescence is an American rock band known for blending heavy guitar-driven music with symphonic, gothic, and piano-based elements. Formed in Arkansas and brought to global attention by vocalist, songwriter, and pianist Amy Lee, the band became widely recognized for its dramatic sound, emotional intensity, and powerful vocals. Their debut album ‘Fallen’ became an instant success after its release in 2003, selling more than 141,000 copies in its first week and peaking at No.3 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart. That album granted them their first two Grammy awards, and saw the band rise to fame with songs such as “Bring Me to Life” and “My Immortal” which have become enduring staples of modern rock.
To date, Evanescence has released a total of five studio albums, including the multi-platinum The Open Door (2004) and Evanescence (2011), both of which topped the Billboard 200. In 2021, the band thrilled fans with their first album of new material in a decade, The Bitter Truth. Now 20 years on, Evanescence continues to scale new heights. Their music, characterized by themes of inner strength, vulnerability, and resilience, keeps resonating across generations and remains a defining presence in contemporary rock. Featuring a line-up of Amy Lee (vocals, keyboards), Tim McCord (guitar/bass), Will Hunt (drums), Troy McLawhorn (guitars), and Emma Anzai (bass, backing vocals), the band will travel across North America, the UK, and Europe this year, demonstrating that they are still one of the most relevant bands of the last two decades.
Of the tour announcement, frontwoman Amy Lee states, “This year has been so inspiring in so many ways, creating so much new music, playing some bucket-list shows and working with so many artists that give us life. We are taking all of that fire and energy and inspiration and building it into an epic 2026 for our fans. Collaborating with K. Flay, Poppy, and Courtney Le Plante made me want to create a world where we could share stages, and I’m thrilled we are going to make it happen! I can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on, and I can’t wait for this incredible tour.”
Evanescence will be performing at Forest National in Brussels on Wednesday, 16 September 2026. Tickets are available via fkpscorpio.be
