Hooverphonic live in Antwerp celebrating 25 years of 'The Magnificent Tree'

Hooverphonic will be coming to the Lotto Arena in Antwerp on Friday 6 February 2026 in honor of 25 years of ‘The Magnificant Tree’. A big anniversary concert of their iconic album with their biggest hits!

One of the biggest bands in Belgium, which is on the map with its own sound throughout Europe and far beyond: that is Hooverphonic. What started in 1995 in a modest apartment in Sint-Niklaas, quickly culminates in a piece of Belgian music history and a worldwide success story.

The group was originally founded in 1995 under the name ‘Hoover’ by guitarist and producer Alex Callier, keyboardist Frank Duchêne and guitarist Raymond Geerts. Five years later, in 2000, they released the success album ‘The Magnificent Tree’ on the world. The band’s third studio album with Geike Aernaert as frontwoman, is a real milestone in their oeuvre and ensured that their international career gained momentum.’ The Magnificent Tree’ is a timeless classic that reflects the signature sound of the band, and also yielded four giant hits: Mad About You, Vinegar & Salt, Out of Sight and Jackie Cane. The album was in the Ultratop album charts for more than two years and is one of the most successful Belgian albums of all time with more than 340,000 physically sold albums and 165 million streams.

Last year was is exactly 25 years ago that the band released this album in the world. To celebrate their success album, they performed a few shows in Brussels, Antwerp and Liège and this week they perform at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp on Friday 6 February 2026.  In addition, they will also bring other success songs with which they conquered the charts worldwide and also new music.
