Easter is coming, and if you are staying in Brussels, do not stress, we are about to make your weekend way more fun than expected. Because let’s be real… who needs a plane ticket when the city is FULL of crazy good events?

The raving scene flourishes with spring, and the spring break is coming in hotter than ever. The season has officially started, and we are more excited than ever to prepare our sexiest outfits and shake our bodies under the not-always-present Belgian sun.

So get ready, because the first festivals and outdoor events are kicking off, but the clubs are also bringing their A game. I am afraid we are going to need extra days off to recover, because this little holidays are making it reaaaaally hard to choose. And trust us, the list of events this weekend is actually HUGE. What you are seeing here is just a selection based on our taste, the ones we would actually go to.

FRIDAY 3 APRIL

BAILE TRAMA — UMI

Brazilian underground energy lands in Brussels for the second stop of TRAMA’s tour, and this one is going harder than ever after a crazy run in Brazil.

Two rooms, 7+ artists, and a full immersion into baile funk, bass and global club sounds. Keep an eye on Ramemes (“The Funk Destroyer”), Christopher Luz and Lucas Kid, making the European debut with a powerful mix of techno, grime and aggressive rhythms. And with UMI’s insane sound system, you already know every bassline is going to hit different. Ready to shake that thing?

FUSE PRESENTS NOVA W/ BIIA, PANTEROS666 — Fuse

If you want to play it safe and start the weekend in the best mood, Fuse is the place. Nova Events is taking over with a fast, bouncy and high-energy night.

BIIA is leading the charge — one of the most exciting techno names right now, known for her powerful and driving sets. Panteros666 brings his iconic chaotic energy with his nostalgic fast vibe, and Belgian favourite Riana Holley is always a guarantee. Holiness completes the line-up.

This one is for people who want it intense, sweaty and non-stop.

SATURDAY 4 APRIL

PIKNIK ELEKTRONIK — Bois de la Cambre (Free Open Air)

We have been starving for an open air moment, and finally the city delivers. Bois de la Cambre, music, sun (hopefully) and it is free. What more do we need? Piknik Elektronik is back with a free open-air session. Line-up is still TBA, but you already know the vibe: chill, social, music in the park, and a perfect warm-up before whatever comes next.

Free — more info

ILLEGAAL DJIPSIES #12 — Brasserie Illegaal

If you are looking for something more raw and community-driven, Illegaal never misses. Expect a collective, slightly chaotic energy with artists like DiDi, RaQL, Chel, 3afifa and HYSOPE, bringing percussive, breaky and sometimes darker sounds. It is loud, it is expressive, and it always feels different from your usual club night.

Starting early in the evening and running until 5. Tickets are only at the door, cash only, so come early and take your chances.

CHERRY BOMB — Bodies in Space (Our Saturday Favourite)

For the real underground lovers. This is not just a party, it is a full experience going from Saturday night until Sunday evening (almost 24 hours). Remember my friends, this one is clearly a marathon, not a sprint.

A mix of techno, deep house, EBM and everything in between, combined with live acts like Anomalie Magnétique and Chattermag. Expect scenography, performances, and a slightly surreal atmosphere where you completely lose track of time.

Names to catch: Ampe, Justine Ferrer, Egna, Ottoman Grüw and more.

SUNDAY 5 APRIL

MODUL’AIR FESTIVAL — Flanders Expo, Ghent (Definotely our fav for the weekend)

For all the festival lovers who can’t wait another day to dance in open airs, the first big techno music festival is finally here. I know it’s not in Brussels, but taking a train to Ghent on Easter Sunday is completely worth it if we are talking about Modul’air.

To celebrate their 5 year anniversary, the Flemish party Modul’air is bringing its high-speed, dynamic, young and sexy brand to the next level. From day to night, outdoors and indoors. Regarding artists, they are bringing a line-up FULL of headliners: from major Belgian names like Helena Lauwaert and Pegassi to international stars such as DJ Gigola, Hannah Laing, Faster Horses, Clara Cuvé and Alignment, all spread across six stages covering everything from hard techno and trance to groovy house and more, so no matter your vibe, there is always somewhere to land.

Expect cool people, hot looks, impressive stages and great music — but what really makes Modul’air is the crowd, ready to dance for 15+ hours straight. Tickets are about to sell out, so you better be fast!

HANGAR x LISTEN FESTIVAL — Cinquantenaire Tunnels

Hangar goes fully underground for this one (literally), taking over the tunnels of Cinquantenaire with Listen Festival. A raw and immersive setting, perfect for artists like KI/KI and Marcel Dettmann delivering heavy, hypnotic sets.

Saturday is sold out, but Sunday tickets are still (barely) within reach, if you are fast you will make it to the party. But if not, don’t lose the hope babe, ticketswap will always be there to keep the hope alive, SET YOUR ALARMS!

GAY HAZE — Les Halles de Schaerbeek

To close the weekend properly, one of our favourites parties in Brussels, Gay Haze is back at Les Halles, and if you know, you know.

After their last Horst takeover, they return with that signature mix of freedom, self-expression and a dancefloor that just feels amazing. From 16:00 until the morning, expect house and techno with names like Amaliah, ISAbella and Katy De Jesus. Sexy, safe space and full of energy, the perfect closing for our Easter weekend.

We hope you enjoy these parties as much as we will, see you somewhere on a dancefloor.

And when it is all over… good luck with the hangover.
