In 2024, VIKTOR's DJ sets - who now has 6 years of experience behind the turntables - took off. The Belgian DJ performed at festivals such as Tomorrowland and Terra Solis and on the most famous stage of party island Ibiza: Ushuaia. Despite his busy schedule, VIKTOR has also been working on his own songs and productions all this time and 'Shadow' is his first official release.
The song tells the story of an indigestible love break-up, a theme that many people can identify with. VIKTOR finds this recognisability very important: “I wanted to write a song that can evoke a personal feeling in the listener, as if it were your song. Then it hits twice as hard.”, he said. “As an artist, I get the most satisfaction and pleasure from the creative process. The interaction between making music and performing is particularly inspiring. There is nothing more fun than being able to test the music you make in the studio during the week on a live audience during the weekend. You learn a lot from that!”,
