'SideQuest', the new album by USI ES

Usi ES is the artistic name of Belgian artist Esther Weemaes, releasing this week her debut album 'SideQuest' in digital platforms, including her latest single 'One Way the Sea'.

She makes dark, dreamy songs with her own signature. In her attic she weaves synths, polyphonic vocals and rustling edges together into a universe in which the undercurrent pulls you along and fireflies show the way. Her voice is the common thread: sometimes whispering, sometimes in-your-face, but always telling. Live, she wraps you in her self-made blanket: a layered patchwork of voice, atmosphere and texture that gently chafes, but still makes you feel at home. Get your album here pressed by PRESS FORWARD.

In-store show 06 February

USI ES will present her album in Ghent's Music Mania in a small setup performing a few songs. The vinyl will be available to purchase at the shop.

Release show - 14 February

The release show will take place in Ghent's Theater Tinnenpot. Apart from a try out a few days before, it will be the first time that she will perform the album with a band. Seasoned musicians Jan Borré (Synths) and Tom Leyman (Drums, also in the band Ramkot) will be joining her on stage. Get your tickets here.
